Hi kamp-red,

Modify Headers is compatible with Firefox 3.6. I and people I work with use it every day on that version of the browser. I have heard reports of compatibility check failures, but have not been able to reproduce it. I suggest uninstalling the addon and trying again.

If you continue to have problems, please create a bug here http://modifyheaders.mozdev.org/bugs.html and provide full repro steps and I’ll see what I can find out.

A couple of other people have had similar problems. Modify Headers is compatible with Firefox 3.5.5, but for some reason does not get correctly recognized by some installations. Take a look at this thread: http://www.garethhunt.com/2009/06/08/released-modify-headers-066/comment-page-1/#comment-1676.

I’ve not had the problem and the only solution I’ve seen is to reinstall Firefox.

hi gareth.
i had the modify headers add-on and accidentally uninstalled it the other day. now my firefox is updated to 3.5.5 and i can’t add the headers because it is apparently not compatible? please help. thank you so much.

I assume you are trying to download from http://addons.mozilla.org/. I’ve just tried it and it worked for me. AMO has had problems similar to this in the past – I suggest waiting some time and then trying again.
