Released: Modify Headers 0.5.4
Now that Firefox 2 has been released and the Modify Headers upgrade to support it completed, I have finally got round to fixing an usability issue that has been irritating me for a while.
Previously when clicking the Edit button, the header name and value would be placed in the appropriate text box, but the action select would not change, it would always be stuck on Add. Now, this has been resolved.
Firefox auto-update will handle this for most people, but if you don't have Modify Headers, go install it from Mozilla Update.

Would like to set server to be able to tell the access from real mobile phone & the access from Firefox with mofify header.
Could you pls let me know if there is any solution?
Thanks in advance,

Modify Headers does not add anything specific to the request headers that will allow you to identify it. However, most users will likely use a user-agent string that is shorter than the real thing.
EG, for the Samsung T809, a Firefox user would likely have: SAMSUNG-SGH-T809. However, the full UA string from a device is: SAMSUNG-SGH-T809/1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/6.2.3.3.c.1.101 (GUI) MMP/2.0,T809UVEJ9
I hope that makes sense.

Hi, I’m using your marvelous plug-in from months.
Now I do not found its download page on Firefox repository:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/967/
I follow links you provide here and on mozdev.org but they do not work anymore. I found a 404: Add-on not found!
Do you know the reason of this?
Where your Extension is now downloadable?
Thanks, Alex.

It’s back! It was a server down?

addons.mozilla.org is managed by the Mozilla Corporation. I suspect the server was down for maintainance.

Hey,
I just downloaded this and when I visited a website to tell me what my user-agent was it did not work. Could this be because Firefox just updated today and broke it?
